A walkthought on how to build your own Hydra Brute.

This tutorial walks through how to modify your hydra brute to install the Hail! Henchman suit.

The Hydra brute comes with sculpted on leg pouches that are too bulky to be easily covered with trousers. So to fix this, a simple leg swap with a similar build figure is needed.

For this, you will need:

• Marvel Legends Hydra Brute
• Marvel Legends Sentry.

Please note that there are several bodies that share the same frame, including Sabertooth and Tigershark. 

Using the ‘boil and pop’ method, remove legs at the tighs and calves on both figures and the hands-on Hydra. This will make pulling on the top easier.
Boil and pop is a simple technique. Using boiled water in a bowl, soak the figure for a couple of minutes; this heats and softens the plastic just enough that the joints are easy to pull apart.

Once apart, re-soak the fodder legs and Hydra boots to soften the plastic. Then push the legs back together and repeat with the calves.
Now your Hydra brute is ready for his upgrade.
